100% analog monophonic synthesizer with unimaginable modulation matrix. 3 classic oscillators taken from the Microbrute/Minibrute family (+ 1 sub), 12dB/24dB filters, three envelope generators, 49 full-size buttons with aftertouch, packed in high-quality housing hinting at Minimoog Voyager XL style.
The modulation matrix concept was about replacing the tangle of patch cords with the controller platform and the touch matrix. MOD mode allows routing of any of the 16 modulation sources to any of the 18 modulation points, letting you monitor what is happening on the display. With the help of the matrix the patterns of the sequencer can be created and it can also be used in the PRESET mode. In addition to such a total control, the synthesizer is distinguished by the number of inputs and outputs that occupied the panel with the same density as knobs and buttons occupied the control panel: 12 CV in/out, audio in, gate in/out, sync in/out, MIDI in/out /Thru, USB in/out, 2 expression pedals + sustain and connectors for stereo outputs.
The synthesizer also includes ladder filter and Steiner-Parker filter, 5 chains of analog effects. As the developers of Matrixbrute admit, the main idea was to combine the flexibility of modular synthesizers with an intuitive interface sticking to the rule "one button per function".
A 44-note semi-weighted keyboard with aftertouch offers a 100% analog signal path, 4 voices of polyphony, a wide range of modulation possibilities featuring 20 sources and about 50 destinations, easy and quick sound programing. There are two analog...
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the creation of the legendary Minimoog Model D, in 2010 an extended version of Voyager was released. The new synthesizer was named "XL", apparently the designers wanted to emphasize the size and functionality. In...
This is a successful attempt to remind the world of what an analog synthesizer is. It appeared in 2002, when Dr. Robert Moog finally won the rights to his company (Moog Music) back. The signal path remained completely analog and schematically very close...

The manufacturer intended this synthesizer to be an instrument that would operate as six Minimoogs would do at once encased into one housing, but everything turned out quite different. The synthesizer was developed without the participation of Robert...
