Arturia MatrixBrute got Firmware Update v1.1

MatrixBrute Firmware Update 1.1 has been announced by Arturia. The new update for its flagship analog synthesizer adds a matrix-arpeggiator, real-time recording ability, preset knob position indication, features ensuring the compatibility with KORG instruments and some other options.

Arturia MatrixBrute Firmware Update 1.1 new features include:

Matrix arpeggiator which offers up to 16 steps (each represented by Matrix column) and 4-note chords. The upper part operate like in classic sequencer mode – the lower rows are divided in three groups (each representing an octave from -1 to +1 while four rows of each group are actually those four notes of a pressed chord). That’s how the 4 notes of the chord can be set to play and an octave chosen. You may create chord progressions right off maintaining the evenness of the rhythm owing to Key Hold mode which you can enable while playing different chords.

With Real time recording you can set the length of any sequence. The smart feature reacts to the way you perform – if you hold the note the steps get automatically tied, if you play with a high velocity the step gets accented while recording. You might also want to use Modulation Amount knob when recording the modulation track live.

Transposing pitch CV outputs - Arturia MIDI Control Center will help you to transpose the 0V-related note.

Among other elaborations - improved compatibility with Korg instruments thanks to tune-able clock resolution; better Autotune algorhythm; quicker preset loading and no pops while switching presets.
