The MKII version introduces some upgrades and overall enhancement including a rebuilt analog circuitry for deeper voices, improved analog overdrive for more dynamic character, OLED screen with the appropriate visual feedback, solid rugged backlit buttons, high-resolution encoders, more dedicated buttons, stereo audio output per voice, expression/CV inputs for external parameter control, proprietory overbridge feature with higher bandwidth, high-end aluminium enclosure.
Fully analog path, oscillators generating variable waveshape, oscillator AM and Sync modes, analog overdrive circuit, a noise generator, one dedicated vibrato LFO, 2 assignable LFOs and 2 dedicated waveshape ones, 8 envelopes among which there are 2 assignable envelopes, 2 dedicated LFO fade envelopes and one amplifier envelope, a dedicated noise fade envelope, a dedicated vibrato envelope, and a dedicated autobend envelope. LFOs and envelopes represent digital components while oscillators and amplifiers are surely analog.
A 4-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer with a powerful 6-track sequencer is based on 2 oscillators and 2 subs, comprises a 4-pole low-pass ladder type and a 2-pole multi-mode filter. The effects section is represented with a high quality reverb, delay, chorus and overdrive feature. The sequencer allows up to 64 steps per pattern and 128 patterns per project, 6 arpeggiators, individual track parameter adjustment. The instrument delivers convenient Performance mode, instant Pattern, Kit, and Sound reload, full MIDI support.
Control any analog device via 4 CV/Gate outputs which will send Trig and Gate pulses for trigging envelopes, clock pulses for sequencers syncing, control voltages for pitch control. There are CV inputs and a dedicated CV track – the six tracks of the unit’s sequencer include 4 synth tracks, one FX track and one CV track which allows for controlling the signals sent from two CV/Gate outputs.
Analog Four is a smart way of using control voltage and digital precision. You’ll have your sound warm and lively while keep the pitch under accurate control.
