Elektron announced the imminent release of the two new versions of its flagship instruments - Analog Four MKII and Analog Rytm MKII.

Analog Four MKII is a four-voice analog desktop synthesizer. The built-in sequencer provides smooth parameter control of generated sounds, and external devices can be controlled via four CV/Gate outputs.

With the analog sound path having been improved, Analog Four MKII device delivers a deep, clear and rich bass, and also has a more pronounced overdrive/distortion effect.

As for connectivity, Analog Four MKII has CV/Gate outputs to control other instruments, outputs for each voice, two expression/CV inputs. There is also a USB output for PC which also allows the unit to be used together with the Overbridge software.

All this is encased into an aluminum enclosure which is equipped with solid backlit buttons (rated for 50 million presses), large and clear OLED-screen, high-resolution encoders.

As for Analog Rytm MKII - it is an 8-voice analog drum machine and a sampler in one package. The combination of analog synthesis of drums and percussion, as well as a digital engine for using samples and sequencer provides the user with a wide range of opportunities for creating and managing sound, and a rich set of buttons makes this process faster and more convenient.

Analog Rytm MKII is protected by a premium cast aluminum housing equipped with backlit buttons (featuring the same durability of up to 50 million touches), high-resolution encoders and a large OLED-screen, which will conduce to high-quality work in a poorly lit room.

Among other features, the device is equipped with expression/CV inputs allowing control by external signal sources. You can integrate Analog Rytm MKII with a computer via USB and use the brand’s Overbridge software.

Elektron Analog Four MKII shipping is planned for September 2017, the new device will cost you €1449 $1349. Elektron Analog Rytm MKII will be released in October, it can be purchased for €1699 or $1549.
