Andromeda A6 is a 61-note velocity sensitive keyboard with aftertouch. The 16-note polyphonic synthesizer comprises 2 oscillators per voice, includes sub oscillators, generates 5 waveforms among which there are sine, triangle, square, up saw, down saw offered. The structure provides with a 24dB low pass resonant filter per voice and a 12dB multimode resonant filter per voice.
The effects section is represented with digital reverb, chorus, echo, analog distortion, quad pitch-shifting, flange, and more.
The integrated arpeggiator includes Up, Down, Up/Down, Random direction and features MIDI sync as well as a built-in 16-step sequencer.
Program memory comprises 256 presets and 128 user programs. The memory card slot is integrated supporting PCMCIA format.
The analog synth allows for creating deep leads, evolving pads, juicy basses, and effects. The controls are represented with 72 knobs and 144 buttons which guarantees lots of tweaking and easy access editing. There’s a high resolution LCD installed.
There are 3 LFOs integrated each enabling 6 waveforms which can be synced to MIDI clock and 7-stage envelopes and Portamento feature offered.
Andromeda is MIDI controllable and syncable, includes individual voice, stereo outputs and audio inputs. The instrument was used by BT, Air, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, DJ Tiesto, Klaus Schulze, Yes and the Pet Shop Boys.
