The Dreadbox Erebus is a desktop analog synthesizer designed by Dreadbox, a Greek synthesizer company. It features two voltage-controlled oscillators, two voltage-controlled low-pass filters, two voltage-controlled amplifiers, an analog effects processor, and a modulation matrix. It is capable of creating a wide range of sounds, from warm and thick basses to bright and dynamic leads.

On May 11th, a new Moog product was launched - a semi-modular analog synthesizer Grandmother, which also includes an arpeggiator, a sequencer and a spring reverb. The Dreadbox company has been pleasing us with novelties during all the Spring 2018. Over the past month, they have presented a third version of their Erebus synthesizer and its smaller version Lil' Erebus, which comes as a DIY kit, but the most intriguing and long-awaited news from the company was the Medusa synthesizer prototype that they brought to the Superbooth 2018, held in Berlin from 3 to 5 May.
