CS-60 is an 8-voice synthesizer featuring one VCO per voice. Oscillators generate square, saw and PWM while sub oscillator offers 4 wave types. There’s also a noise generator incorporated. Memory includes 12 presets and one user patch. The filter section comprises low pass and high pass modes offering resonance control and ADSR envelope. There’s no sequencer onboard. The 61-note keyboard supports aftertouch. The effects present ring modulation.
To make the presets more glossy you’ll need all these sliders and editable parameters accessible via the front panel. Among the controls there’s a long ribbon one for pitch bend.
The unit is fairly unique though the models seem to overheat and tuning is not that stable. You get CS-80 sounds and basic programming possibilities. The unit was used by Air, Jean-Michel Jarre, Oshe and Bob Marley and the Wailers.
