CS-15D is a monophonic synthesizer offering 1 VCO per section. The LFO features sine, square, sample&hold and repeat. The instrument comprises one 2-pole low pass filer with a dedicated ADSR. The filter section provides with cut off and resonance controls. VCA has a dedicated ADSR as well.

The 37-note keyboard offers 29 presets and no user memory. The analog synth was launched in 1979. The CS series is famous for its deep warm sound.

There are two channles (the second one can be detuned) for the preset section including 15 sounds of the instrument imitations and 14 synth sounds. Two channels can be mixed.

The VCO1 offers a variable control between pulse and saw waveforms.

Among the controls there are elements for modulation which can be routed to VCO, VCF or VCA. The performance panel feature portamento, pitch/mod wheels and a brilliance slider. There’s a global tuning controller.
