street priceRoland D-05 is a revision of a legendary Roland D-50. The Roland D-05 Linear Synthesizer brings back the electronic music and movie soundtracks from the 80s. Roland's Digital Circuit Behavior is recreated, all the original presets are added as well as some new ones are featured. The instrument architecture is compatible with D-50 patches.
Sound generation is provided with sample and synthesis digital circuit behavior engine. D-05 offers a 16-note polyphony, and the effects section is featured with reverb, chorus, EQ.
The digital device is famous for its unique waveform character. The module incorporates a 64-step sequencer, arpeggiator which will help to create evolving pads and lively sound flow. You’ll find a joystick on the front panel to get easy with the module straight away if you were fond of the original D-50.
The unit combines PCM sample-based attack waveforms with synthesized sustained waveforms adding ring modulation. It is compatible with Roland Boutique series accessories like the K-25m keyboard. D-05 has a built-in speaker and can be battery powered.
There is analog in/out, one headphone out, MIDI i/o, USB.
