Kawai MP5 instrument combines the classic black design of the previous MP8 in combination with the compact MP4 dimensions. The sound of MP5 has been revised and equipped with a string resonance, an damper effect. The new functions of the instrument also included AHA IV-E technology. The instrument took MP8 piano’s 192 notes of polyphony, 256 internal sounds and 4 effects processors. MP5 zones can be controlled both internally and via external sources. Individual faders allow you to configure each zone, they can be managed intuitively in real time.
Based on Harmonic Imaging II technology MP5 is able to reproduce high-quality recorded samples. The tool has 4 zones, which can be individually set for INT and EXT. Zones can be played separately or simultaneously. Multi zones allowed the musician to perform freely: operating with layers, changing speed, creating a complex musical palette.
The instrument has 7 types of reverb: Plate, reverb 1, reverb 2, Stage 1, Stage 2, Room 1, Room 2. Also 22 types of effects: Chorus, Flanger, Celeste, Ensemble, Delay 1-4, Auto Pan 1-2, Tremolo 1-2, Phaser 1-2, Rotary 1-2, Auto Wah, Pedal Wah, Enhancer, Overdrive. MP5 has a four-band equalizer for adjusting the frequency of sound.
MP5 keyboard with 88-weighted keys is based on the new Advanced Hammer Action IV-E technology, which gives more control during a dynamic performance. The instrument has a keyboard with a special Ivory Feel coating, preventing finger slip (as well as in EX Concert Grand Piano). The new "Acoustic Reaction" function has improved the stiffness of each key during playback. F-10H pedal comes together with the instrument, and as an accessory - a dual F-20 pedal and an expression pedal V-20X.
The digital piano MP5 is worth your money – it incorporates the features of the previous models of the series. With new powerful functions, the instrument became the number one choice among professional musicians for obvious reasons.
