street priceBlack Classic System is a set of modules from the Black and Polivoks series, assembled in the Skiff housing with both internal and external power supply. The system has a fully analog audio path (except of the digital noise generator). There are 2 VCOs, the prototype of which is the well-known Polivoks, 2 LFO with 6 waveforms, as well as S&H and TAP Tempo function and the possibility of using as an EG. The main oscillators offer PWM.
The system includes a low-pass filter (LPF) also having Polivoks features - resonance and self-oscillation, a dual-mode H-ADSR/AHDSR envelope generator, and transistor subwoofers. And transistors are made in Latvia and, among other things, have gold-plated contacts.
The filter can also be used as a sine wave generator. Attenuator (VCA) with control via CV allows you to achieve a tremolo effect.
The connectivity is represented with the multiples unit, mixer/splitter, control voltage processor (CV), MIDI/CV converter, additional envelope expander for envelopes, audio output block including manual and CV-control of the stereo.
Black Classic System costs 2250 euros, which is cheaper than buying the same set separately. In addition to the modular system, 20 patch cables are also included.
