Analog Heat can be used as a VST/AU plug-in, allowing you to apply real analog processing to the sounds and tracks created in any DAW, thanks to the Overbridge technology (advanced protocol, featuring the most efficient transmission of data between software and hardware), designed for smooth, seamless integration of the music device with computer. In addition, the device allows you to be applied as a high-quality audio interface with a 48 kHz/24bit DAC/ADC and a 111 dB signal-to-noise ratio and a Hi-Fi frequency range, with stereo input and stereo output, and CoreAudio/ASIO/WDM support together with the processing of the audio stream from your DAW.
8 individual stereo processing circuits perfectly complement each other, giving the sound a different character from the softness of tube saturation to severe extremes. The following effects are available: low-frequency dynamic range extension (Clean Boost), Spectral coloring (Saturation), autoequalizer (Enhancement), Mid-frequency dynamic range extension (Mid Drive), distortion (Classic Dist), Round Fuzz and High Gain.
The multimode filter (two types of LPF, BPF and HPF, 1 BRF/notch) with resonance and a 2-band equalizer will help to shape the sonic flow. Modulation sources include an assignable envelope and an assignable LFO that will affect the rhythmic texture.
Elektron allows you to experience all the possibilities of Analog Heat and test them in action, ensuring that their next device (like Analog Rytm and Analog Keys/Four) is equipped with Overbridge technology. Simply connect the instrument to your computer via USB. In addition, Analog Heat has 3 MIDI-IN/Out/Thru connectors and 2 jacks for external controllers, such as expression pedals. There’s also the processing of CV control signals from an external source enabled.
In addition to all the above mentioned, this sound processor allows you to save settings in the form of programs (presets) totaling up to 128 and has a monochrome screen of amber color, which displays the names of presets and current settings. All this magic is enclosed in a strong metal black housing.
The full-featured functionality of the instrument and the result of sound processing perfectly complement the analog synthesizers, which do not have built-in effects, for example AKAI Timbre Wolf, DSI Mopho x4, Arturia Mini / Microbrute, Korg ARP Odyssey and the entire volca series, as well as many Semi-modular Moog Mother 32, Korg MS-20 mini. Analog Heat is the processor that the musicians have been waiting for.
