DrumTraks is a desktop module of a digital 8-bit drum machine.

The module comprises 13 samples which are stored on EPROM chips. Using this type of memory allows you to change the basic sounds by replacing (Sequential Circuits separately sold sets of EPROM chips) or reprogramming chips (this requires a programmer and a personal computer).

DrumTraks has a unique function: for each bit and sample, you can set individual velocity and pitch.
Sequential Circuits DrumTraks can be heard in the works of Gary Numan, Orbital, Freddy Fresh, Prince.

Country of origin / production: USA
