The sound engine has been taken from the Spectralis and kept in its original shape providing you with the familiar juicy sonic flow.
The synth is based on the analog and DSP technology representing a hybrid. There are 4 oscillators with continuously variable waveshapes, frequency modulation, pulse modulation, oscillator sync function, bit reduction. There are also individual pitch and volume envelopes. The filter section offers 4-pole low pass and 2-pole multimode (low pass, high pass, band pass, notch) supporting self-resonating. The filterbank allows the selective modification of certain frequencies. You can create exquisite timbres since Spectralis 2 offers deep modulation and parameter editing including frequency band panning, Q and roll off slope control and filter stage spacing. The sequencer comes with the step envelopes.
The instrument features multisampling and a 32 stereo voice polyphonic engine based on subtractive synthesis. Drag your sounds from the computer to feed your unit via USB. Spectralis 2 comes with a SD-Card slot and has an onboard 1GB flash memory which is expandable up to 2GB.
Use the grid based drum programming, record step by step or in real time. You can play with sound and create polyrhythmic sequences. The editing of sequences can be carried out on the fly.
