Lifeforms Foundation Evo is the flagship product of the modular systems ever launched by Pittsburgh Modular, the richest in functionality lab for creating sounds for various musical genres. The system can be used as a set as well as a mobile unit due to the fact that it is assembled within the Road Structure EP-208. Lifeforms Foundation Evo implements analog subtractive sound synthesis, includes 4 sound wave oscillators with a full set of available waveforms and duophonic mode, 3 different resonant filters, 2 ADSR envelope processors, several arpeggiators, several sequencers, an analog delay, chaotic random cv and gate generators. For oscilators, linear FM mode, non-linear waveshaping and a unique variable response low pass gate are available. Like many modular systems, Lifeforms Foundation Evo has traditionally extensive MIDI/CV connectivity capabilities, and beyond that, features the control via the built-in pressure sensitive keyboard.
Lifeforms Foundation Evo comprises the following modules:
Double Helix Dual Oscillator x2
Binary Filter x2
ADSR x2
2 + 2 Mixer
Distro
Dual VCA
Midi 3
Dynamic Impulse Filter
Mod Tools
Analog Replicator

All 15 original modules can be reorganized or replaced with other Eurorack modules, both Pittsburgh Modular ones as well as modules made by other manufacturers. The kit also includes 36 patch cables and a power cable. The case of the synthesizer is made in the form of a suitcase and has a cover.
