The module serves to expand the capabilities of the Generator. 2 ribbon cables connect the modules (included in the delivery).

Genexpander provides four functions:

  • Waveshaper - designed to convert waveforms. A simultaneous generation of triangular and rectangular waveforms is required. And, if you get both of them produced by only one VCO - the output will be a saw, by different ones - you can get a triangular, rectangular, sawtooth and some intermediate waveforms.
  • Waveform switch for frequency modulation - allows you to select the waveform used by GEN1 for internal modulation of GEN2.
  • Complement Generator with individual outputs for VCO1 and 2 triangular and rectangular waves.
  • Output "BAD" - is designed to enrich the signal with even and odd harmonics. The principle of operation is based on inverting the polarity of the signal depending on the frequency ratio of the two generators.

  Dual Oscillator FM   229.00 U.S.Dollars

Generator is a kind of a double voltage-controlled oscillator. It does not conform to the 1 volt per octave, and also has no temperature compensation. These factors limit the use of the oscillator, but allow you to create complex FM tones and atonal drum...
