Schrittmacher offers 32 configurable parameter lines with 16 steps each. The steps can be edited with 16 rotary encoders with integrated pushbuttons (there are 28 additional pushbuttons for sequence processing). The sequencer is easy to navigate and exploit thanks to the large backlit display. An external master keyboard can be connected to the sequencer for extra purposes including transposing and any kind of operating with sequences and grooves. Manikin guarantees fast access to the parameter lines and steps.

Parameter lines can be configured as Note, Velocity, Gate, Len, Midi, Add or Ctrl and each line can have play mode and speed configured independently.

The 16 endless dials aloows you to skip or mute steps, step mode is indicated by colored LEDs. You can work with your sequences with the help of 8 controllers via pitch, channel aftertouch or CC. The instrument can store up to 30 presets. There are loop and sync functions: sync function resyncs parameter lines to main clock.

Schrittmacher supports external and internal MIDI clock, and soft can be updated via MIDI. The connectivity is featured with one MIDI in and two MIDI outs.
