MS-20 mini reproduces the authentic circuitry of the classic MS-20 released in 1978. The analog architecture was replicated under the supervision of the engineers who created the original unit. The team revived 2VCO / 2VCA / 2VCF / 2EG / 1LFO structure as well as installed the revised components and features including self-oscillating high-pass/low-pass filters with peculiar distortion, external signal processor (ESP), and flexible patching system.
MS-20 mini was downsized to 86% of MS20. MIDI in and USB connectivity options are available. Every detail of the original was precisely delivered.
The MS-20 synthesis based on two oscillators, envelope generators featuring hold and delay stages and a bit reworked voltage-controlled amplifier featuring less noise. The filters are capable of self-oscillating and represent the earlier version of those integrated in the MS-20 keyboard.
MS20 in a reasonably and justified remake – MS20 mini entered the market as an affordable copy of a famous synthesizer.
The year of 2014 brought the new Korg’s implementation of MS-20 – MS-20M kit. Designed by the same developers who engineered the original instrument MS-20M is based on the authentic version and features some enhancement. The analog synthesizer module got...
The Moog Grandmother is a semi-modular analog synthesizer that represents a significant departure for Moog Music, combining the accessibility of a keyboard-based instrument with the flexibility of modular synthesis. Despite its colorful panel and...
The Arturia MiniBrute 2 is a powerful analog synthesizer with a 25-key keyboard and a range of sound-shaping controls. It features two oscillators, a sub-oscillator, a Steiner-Parker filter, an envelope generator, an LFO, and a patch bay. It also...
