Kronos X 73 has the same 9-engine synthesizer architecture the original Kronos is based on. The structure includes realistic piano, richly expressive electric piano, tonewheel organ, digital synthesis, and powerful analog/physical modeling.

SGX-1 (premium piano) offering German D grand piano and Japanese C model sampled at 8 velocity levels for each key reproducing every resonance nuance, subtle mechanical noise of pressed keys or a released damper pedal;

EP-1 (MDS Electric Piano) recreating six most popular electric pianos featuring the Multi-Dimensional Synthesis technology which presents a stunning dynamic range, smoothes out the transition between sample velocities making the looped samples behave natural;

The Kronos X version offers 2GB of PCM RAM, twice the capacity of the previous SSD (62GB). The library can be expanded with the sounds of KRONOS Sound Libraries and the KARO Sound Libraries. 16 MIDI tracks and 16 audio tracks are provided by KARMA, the Open Sampling System and the built-in sequencer.
