Buchla 256e is represented with 4 identical functional blocks designed for: scaling, inverting, combining, multiplication of control voltages (CV).
Each unit has two inputs, the mixing of signals is regulated by one knob. There is also an "in select" input that can control the mix between the two inputs. After mixing, the signals go to the algebraic transformer, where the "Output 0 V" controls set the beginning of the transfer function, and "Output 10V" - the end of it (maximum value). The Breakpoint function allows you to create more complex output dependency on the input signal.
All the configured parameters can be saved to the preset manager (206e, 225e).
