Released in 1982, Roland TB-303 bass synthesizer was originally devised as an instrument for solo guitarists at rehearsal and bands which didn’t have a bass player. Besides, it was meant to accompany TR-606 drum machine. More than 30 years have passed since the release, and we can be sure that TB-303 is the best on the drum machine market.

The unique monophonic bass synthesizer combines a step sequencer featuring 64 patterns and 7 songs, a single analog oscillator with 2 waveforms: saw and square, a simple but efficient VCF filter with resonance, cutoff, and envelope control. On the front panel there are knobs for tempo change, release envelope and accent shift. In addition, there are connectors for a distortion pedal or an overdrive panel.

It is difficult to believe in the capabilities of VCO 1 generating 2 waves and skillfully causing a rhythmic earthquake. Thanks to TB-303, many electronic genres have been shaped: from acid to ambient.

Well-known users: Aphex Twin, 808 State, Future Sound of London, Massive Attack, Orbital, Fatboy Slim, Air, Plastikman, Moby, Hardfloor, Underworld, BT, The Prodigy, Jimmy Edgar, Union Jack, Pet Line Boys , Freddy Fresh, Luke Vibert, The Chemical Brothers and many others.

  Bass Synthesizer   270.00 U.S.Dollars

Roland TB-3 was released together with TR-8 in 2014. Apparently, the legendary brand approached the design quite in a unique manner. While TR-8 looks like TR-808 and 909, TB-3 ultimately represents a remake of everyone's beloved "303". The bass...

Shadowed by more famous colleagues, TR-606 strikes back. The release of a miniature box with huge potential took place in 1982. Like its colleagues bathing in fame pool, the drum machine generates its sounds with a simple analog circuit. At first glance,...
