Monomachine SFX60 (MKII) is expensive but possesses lots of sequencing possibilities and has a unique voice. MKII version got the ability to receive user waveforms, balanced outputs and a bit more compact design.
Six monophonic DSP-based synth engines can be brought onto sequencer tracks. External MIDI gear can be sequenced owing to the six polyphonic tracks.
Three separate LFOs, amp, filter and effects are assigned together with the type of sound generation to a certain track.
There are 5 types of synth Machine and sub-types. Superwave produces up to 8 simultaneous analog-style waves, SID Machine is based on the Commodore 64 SID chip, DigiPRO offers 32 12-bit raw digital waveforms (you can also play back 24 built-in drum samples), FM+ which is a customisable Frequency Modulation synthesis engine, and VO for voice modeling and speech generating. Reverb, chorus, dynamics and ring modulation processing represent the second group of Machines in the Monomachine structure.
The instrument is not the most easy to navigate considering deep parameter editing, wide range of modulation possibilities by three LFOs on each track considering the number of synth engines, as well as a small LCD screen. But it delivers a powerful sonic stream indeed.
