Conductive Labs willing to produce their NDLR (‘noodler’) - a hardware multipart polyphonic arpeggiator - has initiated a Kickstarter project.
With NDLR you can use up to 8 synthesizers via MIDI. Send a bass line or an arpeggiated sequence to some synthesizer, chord notes to 4 synths, some drone note to a synth which will evolve it in the best possible way.
With the seven buttons you can play any chord which if the circle of buttons gets fixed on being “shifted” can be emitted in different types: in triads, 7ths, 9ths, suspensions and others, while the sonorities are automatically selected based on the chord degree, the key and mode chosen.
Percussa Super Signal Processor Eurorack Module is now available to pre-order. You can do it on Friday, 15 September, at 8PM PDT for $1650 (plus shipping) on the official website. After 15 September the price is promised to be higher.
MBS-100 MIDI Bass Synthesizer has been devised by the Russian brand AVP Synth as a renaissance of the short Soviet music industry epoch – you might have seen such knob design in any “tweaking” Russian device produced before 1990s.
The unit offers a hybrid analog-digital synthesis. The structure comprises 2 voltage-controlled digital 4-waveform oscillators (pulse waves are fixed the way Aelita or Polivoks were), voltage controlled filter (fully analog 12 db/oct low pass filter), 2 ADSRs, voltage controlled amplifier, low frequency oscillator.
Connectivity is presented with MIDI In/Thru (16 channels + Omni), audio output – one mix output (mono 6.3 mm jack).
