There are some notable peculiarities:

• KAOSS FX is the totally new addition which gives you creative control on your performance: mix between accompaniment Sounds including adding ‘liquid mixing’ to any Style or MIDI Song, morph between Variations and Drum Kit types, rebuild rhythms on the go, get entertained with the ear-crashing effects, tape delay and arpeggios.
• Pa700 delivers over 370 Styles each presenting a true musical environment for helping you with any genre, 4 Fill Ins + Break patterns (one for each variation) are featured.
• KORG’s advanced EDS-X sound engine (Enhanced Definition Synthesis-eXpanded) is what Pa700 is based on. You can add custom sounds thanks to 256 MB of compressed PCM User memory.

KORG Pa1000 is surely the next step from Pa900. Its sound engine uses four times the PCM memory of Pa900 and extends the amount of User PCM memory to 600MB using compression. The maximum of 1,152 locations covering all the ever existing styles are available. The new standard for arranger workstations Pa1000 has brought Pa900 to an ultimate level. The 61-note semi-weighted keyboard offers a naturally responsive velocity sensitivity. Among the new sounds there are two new multi-layer stereo grand piano (with damper and body resonance), plus electric pianos from the acclaimed KORG SV-1 Stage Piano included.

Comparing to Pa700 there are 600 MB of compressed PCM User memory available making it easy to rely on user sound storage. In Pa1000 you’ll discover 430 Styles. TC-Helicon Voice Processor will prove your vocals to be of the best quality making up to 3 realistic voices available. With Pa1000 you’ll get a selection of best Guitar FXs from the KORG collection, the famous KORG XDS Crossfade Dual Sequencer Player and SongBook useful for live performances. In addition to the USB DEVICE and the MIDI ports MIDI connection can now also be done through the USB HOST ports.
