The Roland MKS-50 is an analog synthesizer module released by Roland in 1986. It is a rack-mount version of the Roland JX-10 synthesizer and features two digitally controlled oscillators (DCOs) and two analog oscillators, as well as a 24 dB/octave low-pass filter, two envelope generators, and a modulation matrix. It is capable of producing a wide range of sounds, from classic analog bass and lead sounds to complex pads and textures.
