street priceFantom-XR is a 1U rack module featuring more then 1GB of patches and allowing 128MB internal wave ROM. There are many new sounds presented including an 88-key split piano (a multi-stage velocity-switched stereo sampled piano). Up to 6 SRX expansion boards can be installed. User sampling is available, and samples can be loaded via USB (the instrument is compatible with wav/aiff format). The PC Card storage is supported.
The synth/sampler has a 128-voice polyphony and 4-Tone stereo synthesis structure. 128MB ROM can be expanded up to 512MB with the help of six optional SRX boards while 16MB sample memory – up to 528MB via optional DIMMs. The unit features 3 MFX processors, independent reverb, chorus and master section.
The connectivity features a USB port and an optional PC Card storage (up to 1GB), 2 stereo (4 mono) analog outputs, stereo analog input, plus S/PDIF digital I/O.
The instrument offers new 88-key split piano, new string ensembles, juicy drums and many more.
