Besides, this model got the patented "D-Beam" controller.
It also has 2 modes for recording: the "Recorder" function with simple rec/start/stop options and a full-function 16-track sequencer with the possibility of detailed macro/micro editing. All sounds can be processed with such effects as: reverb (8 types), chorus (8 kinds), and 41 types of multi-effects.
E-80 provides functions: Style Converter, which is responsible for creating styles based on MIDI files or songs, guitar mode with guitar sounds, Cover/Makeup Tools for quick parameter change in songs, Music Assistant for automatic selection of sounds and styles for Current songs. In addition, the synthesizer supports video management technology V-Link.
