Synthesizer Box is a semi-modular analog synthesizer in the Eurorack format. It is very suitable as the prime modular synthesizer: all basic connections are already routed – “plug and play” kind of thing. All the main function blocks have their independent CV outputs and inputs. Synthesizer Box can be used as a standalone synthesizer, and as part of a modular system.
VCO is designed to work with signals in the format of 1 v/oct, offers a coarse and fine tuning control. An input for frequency modulation (internally connected with the output of the triangular LFO wave of the unit) is provided, the switch selects the FM modulation mode.
The "mod-CV" input has an attenuator (connected to an LFO). The input "Bade-CV" for modulating the blade waveform is provided.
LPG – a voltage controlled filter gate with three modes of operation (LP VCF, VCA, a combination of two modes). It has resonance and cutoff frequency control, as well as a mod-CV input which is designed to control the cutoff frequency or VCA amplitude (internally connected to the ADSR output).
LFO has a frequency controller and a range switch.
Glide is devised to achieve portamento, has a note transition timing adjustment.
There’s a mixer for sound waves. It has independent level controls for triangular, sawtooth and pulse waves.
VCA is a voltage-controlled amplifier, has a level control and an input for external control.
