The instrument features 2 octaves (25 keys), 16 multi-color velocity sensitive pads, 8 assignable knobs and 7 function buttons. Most notably, the Launchkey series housing is highlighted with bright orange. The kit includes a USB cable and a free download of Ableton Live Lite.
The Launchkey keys are really small, but given that the instrument has a lot of pads, buttons and knobs, this is a fair compromise. The company took care of easy integration with any software: Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, etc.
It doesn’t need drivers for installation, and there are starter templates for Live, FL Studio, and Reason to download. In Launchkey Mini you’re free to benefit from the instant control, which allows you to manage custom MIDI assignments and save them within user presets.
