Native Instruments has always had an inherent advantage for making stunning hardware, but the company develops top software as well. Their controllers, such as Kontrol S2 MK2, boast extremely tight integration and super high quality. While S2 MK2 is a simple upgrade to the powerful Kontrol S2, the new version offers a few additional settings and features. The 2-channel controller NI Kontrol S2 MK2 is exactly what you would expect from the manufacturer. The device has similar transport controls and mixer buttons, as Maschine/Kontrol X1 MK2 do, and the effects and pitch knobs are almost identical to the buttons of the original S2. So, when you stop engaging in turntabling, the track will continue to play from the same place where there was a pause pressed. As for anything else, the controller includes a standard 3-band equalizer, a browser control, and level meters for each channel.
