street priceSP2x model is an improved version of its predecessor SP2. The instrument is based on the new technologies concerning a sound core built on the MARA sound chip. Due to this technology SP2x received its 64 voices of polyphony, as well as 64 timbres. The instrument has an enlarged set of samples: in addition to traditional piano sounds and string instruments, drums and percussion sets have been added to this model.
SP2x also has a special Kurzweil effects processing technology featuring a dual processor which allows you to layer them on absolutely any sound. The effects management, as well as the control of other settings, has been simplified by the insertion of a small LCD. The effects section includes: Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Shaper, Enhancer, Distortion, Panner, Rotary, Stereo Tremolo and preset combinations of the unique Laserverb.
SP2x keyboard is of high quality, but distinguishes itself from the SP2 model, having become more professional. Now it's a weighted piano keyboard with 88 velocity sensitive keys. The instrument also provides its users with the keyboard split function, allowing you to play up to 4 different sounds.
SP2x has advanced MIDI capabilities, supports playback of 16 MIDI parts. In order to simplify interaction with the computer while working with sound, the instrument offers a USB MIDI interface. There are 4 controls onboard that can be used as programmable MIDI controllers.
Thanks to SP2x, SP series reached a whole new level of quality and joined the row of professional digital stage pianos.
