Colin Fraser began to design electronic musical devices when he was a teenager - he found a printed circuit inside the fuzz-wah pedal which belonged to one of his friends and realized that he was able to cope with building his own device by acquiring all the necessary parts in the local Radio Shack.
Fraser was extremely keen on electronic music of the 90's, but due to the lack of money he couldn’t afford the equipment he really wanted – that’s how he started designing the instruments himself. Colin assembled his first pattern sequencer with a CV/gate output around a BBC microcomputer, later replaced by Amiga, ST and finally PC. A few years later P3 sequencer appeared, crowning Colin’s efforts in solving the problem of ergonomics. Frustrated by the need to put up with the overall keyboard-mouse-monitor necessity, and the market’s fail to offer a sequencer that would match Colin's expectations, Fraser developed P3.
In 2005, Colin founded Sequentix Music Systems. The creation of the brand was justified by the commercial success of P3 Sequencer, as well as by the desire and the real opportunity to escape from the corporate world of IT. The company began to produce ready-made P3 devices but soon the European Union introduced new rules, due to which the components became unavailable. Fraser started from scratch, and in 2011 a new brand instrument, Cirklon, was released.

The user interface includes a 240x64 pixel LCD graphic screen, 19 rotary encoders with push-switches, 2 assignable knobs, 35 high-quality Cherry keys with built-in LEDs (tri-color status). The basic model offers 5 independent MIDI inputs and outputs, the CVIO option adds 16 CV and 8 gate outputs, the movable rear panel allows you to use the tool as a desktop instrument as well as a rack-mount device. Wooden sides can be purchased separately.
