e:m:с (electronic music components) is a German-Austrian distributor of the topflight electronic musical instruments by various brands and is based in Langenau, Germany. According to the developers they deliberately didn’t broaden the list of the names trying not to run after the quantity – they prefer quality. e:m:c offers only a few worldwide popular and recognized business partners. e:m:c is one of the most authoritative official electronic instruments dealers.

The company supplies its clients with a well-established operating and never let down with the retail network functioning, quick and reliable dealer and client support as well as invariably active participation in marketing campaigns including leading press, online publications, workshops, festivals and expositions.

e:m:c cooperates with such companies as Mellotron, Moog, Vintage Vibe and MIDI Solutions. We should also mention an exclusive Schmidt brand.

Back in the days where the world was happily drowning in techno and analog vintage synthesizers regained popularity Stefan Schmidt, a musical instruments maker, and his company MAM located in southern Germany decided to benefit from this situation and started with creating of MB-33 – quite a decent clone of one of the epoch symbols called TB-303. Their further design – the clone of the legendary Moog Taurus pedals – never made it through a prototype stage because Schmidt was into planning something huge which would make his dream come true – hard-core analog synthesizer.

The ambitious project was going to be released not only by Stefan but also by his development partner and sales expert (Achim Jerominek, Stefan Hund) as well as his own e:m:c company which successfully conduced to all the levels of the process.

In 2013 the first prototype of this unique creature, i.e. Schmidt synthesizer, caught the eye of Hans Zimmer – the right man found the right synth and made it famous.
