MIDI Controller CMD PL-1 by Behringer brand includes a deck, transport controls, effects manipulation, and also allows the control over 4 decks. In the center of the device there’s a 4-inch touch-platter, designed for assigning cue points and scratching.
The platform is surrounded by buttons: "Scratch" to switch between scratch and platter modes, "Tap" for grid fixing, "Sync" activates the mixer block, and finally "Deck" - for assigning a deck. The latter switches between decks from 1 to 4 with 4 highlighted numbers. The lower section has an ultra-large cue, play/pause buttons, scroll back/forward and tempo settings up/down.
The upper half of the surface of the MIDI controller is occupied by eight encoders with LED indicators, 8 cue buttons, a long 14-bit pitch fader (also with LED feedback), and load/lock buttons. On the rear panel there is a single USB connector for integrating with both the computer and MM-1 depending on the configuration.
