If you need the functionality introduced in System-1, i.e. uploadable libraries of sounds of classic synthesizers, and the flexibility of using modular systems, while a simplified keyboard is not required – then System-1m module is created for you. It can be placed either in a rack or in a Eurorack case, if there is neither one nor the other it will fit perfectly any surface as a desktop device.
You will get a virtual analog synthesizer with 4 voices, a fairly wide range of functions and controllers on the front panel, as well as the ability to easily “reconcile” it with other synthesizers, both modular and vintage (via CV), or rackmount and keyboard (via MIDI/USB) .
The basic supply of System-1m includes SH-2 emulation, now you can buy virtual sound engines of Roland Promars and SH-101, and soon - engines of analog synthesis icons: Jupiter-8 and Juno-106. The update OS version 1.1 enables the backup and restore operation, and the firmware version 1.20 comprised additional waveforms: noisy saw, linear FM synthesis, FM with oscillator sync, metal clang, a logical chain for generating multi-forms.
