SC-55 mk II (Sound Canvas) is an improved version of SC-55 sound module.

The device has a 28-voice polyphony and 16-part multitimbrality, supports reverb and chorus effects. Other effects inherent in the GS standard are also supported. The instruments are represented with 354 patches, including drum sounds and a set of special effects.

The internal audio processing was increased up to 18 bits (compared to SC-55, where it was 16 bits).
SC-55 mk II is a compact size module with a large screen, which displays information about all selected tools, effects and the parameters. The contrast of the display can be adjusted. The rear panel features a basic connectivity range: MIDI IN, MIDI OUT and MIDI-THRU, as well as a pair of audio inputs and RCA audio outputs. On the front panel there is a volume control, an output to the headphones and an additional MIDI input. There is a remote control in the kit.

A user-friendly interface allows you to quickly access all the necessary settings of the sound module. The SC-55 mk II is ideal for use on stage as well as for home music making. Almost any functions can be used remotely, without touching the controls on the device itself, assigning instead the necessary controls via your MIDI keyboard. For example, you can adjust the volume of the tracks, the depth of the chorus or the reverb during the performance.
