297 module is assembled according to an analog circuit and is not a representative of the "e" family. It represents the classic phase shift effect with advanced tuning and modulation capabilities.

The module is divided into seven sections:

• Input section, combined with the envelope detector. For the envelope, a three-step response time setting is available.
• Output section.
• Settings of the central frequency and the number of stages of processing. The central frequency is set in the range from 250 to 4000 Hz, stages - from 4 to 10.
• Notch filter with the possibility of external modulation by CV signals.
• Section of the shift generator with depth control. Available frequencies from 0.03 to 32Hz, and it is also possible to connect an external generator.
• Resonance control with the possibility of external modulation.
• Section setting the rate of change. Speed is adjusted in semitones per second. External control by CV signals is also provided.
