One of the Korg crew members uploaded (supposedly “by accident”) the photo to the official Instagram depicting 2 variants of a desktop version next to the KORG ARP Odyssey keyboard. The photo was quickly removed which makes us think whether it was on purpose or it happened by mistake due to some kind of miscommunication within the team. But what we’re really concerned with is whether it’s an experiment featuring a desktop Odyssey by Korg or the company does think about putting it into production.

9.09 Roland starts a 24-hour music online festival dedicated to the 33 anniversary of the legendary Roland TR-909 rhythm machine. More than 30 instruments and services: drums, pianos, synthesizer, DJ devices, effect processor, amplifier and etc. There are going to be exclusive performances and the event will be broadcasted live from Los Angeles, Tokyo, Toronto, New York, Berlin, Paris, Brussels and other cities.

We’ll talk about some of the mysterious sound producing things ever made by Yuri Suzuki.
