Monophonically excellent Xenophone by Hypersynth

Monophonically excellent Xenophone by Hypersynth

The new upgraded version of Xenophone - one of most powerful synthesizers in its class, has been released by Hypersynth. This device will be shipping in the end of September and come with a new soundbank, rethought stand and an updated firmware featuring some fixes and improvements.

Hypersynth Xenophone

Hypersynth Xenophone BackA white edition of the Xenophone synthesizer has been introduced by Hypersynth, the OS has been updated up to version 2.2.
While reading specs you might want to keep in mind MFB Dominion X, Korg MS-20M, Dreadbox NYX, KORG ARP Odyssey Desktop and the new Roland SE-02 (to name a few).

The new acrylic stand has some “placement” advantages: two angles options (30-60 degree), easy installation. The unit is more stable on the surface.

The new soundbank can be downloaded for previous Xenophone units and comes pre-installed on the new product. The soundbank offers sounds grouped in 9 blocks: 64 presets were designed by Frank Neumann from a particular sound. Plus, of course, you get 64 new factory presets.

What’s been added thanks to an upgraded Firmware v2.2:

  • Now you can disable FX in all presets.
  • Select quickly source and target in matrix menu.
  • Get Sysex received and processed with no extra fuss.
  • Enable a hardcoded de-zipper for oscillator shape, PWM and phase.

The price of the white edition is going to be the same as the black one. The model is going to be shipped this September, watch out you might wanna get it.
