New Waldorf keyboard – the STVC String Synthesizer & Vocoder will be presented at the 2018 NAMM Show.
The synth engine is based on the Waldorf Streichfett strings synthesizer desktop module. Waldorf STVC is a 4-octave keyboard synth which offers vocoding features. The chassis is similar to Blofeld in its Keyboard version, i.e. rugged metal chassis, the keybed is supplied by Fatar. Of course, Waldorf STVC includes a gooseneck microphone.
It seems that the price will be likely the same as for the Waldorf Blofeld - USD900. The new instrument will be available to order after the NAMM 2018 Show, at the end of January.
