Stylophone GEN X-1 was announced at 2017 NAMM Show and you might want to watch some demos of it.
The successor of the classic stylus keyboard unit - Stylophone GEN X-1 – has become available. The architecture of the new music machine is based on the core concepts of the standard one and offers some more features including synthesis capabilities and a delay.
GEN X-1 is the latest portable analogue synthesizer by Dubreq. The hand-size unit is ready to produce most marvelous sounds which you can mutate and alter any way you need. It has come to us from the 1960s and now represents a true full-featured mini synth. Since 1968 that serious toy has already been revived two times - Stylophone S2 and Stylophone Beatbox.
Here’s a comprehensive list of the tech details for the tiny instrument:
- A stylus keyboard and separate sound strip
- LFO square and triangle wave
- Low pass filter cutoff/resonance
- Sub octaves -1 & -2
- Envelope attack/decay
- Delay time/feedback
- X button pulse width modulation
- Mini-jack in/out
- Built-in speaker
- Battery operated
Stylophone GEN X-1 will cost you £59.99.
