Hypermorph comprises 4 independent sound sources and an “XY” morphing matrix where all the transformation and changes happen. The morphing matrix is the heart of the plug-in and it should be manipulated manually to find a perfect tone balance. But the working process is not so time consuming and it leads to absolutely new sonic experience.
The instrument morphs your sound automatically, using the following modes:
- XY: Standard manual movement for discovering and layering sources.
- Seq: Arrange steps to achieve unique choppy rhythms and dynamically changing patterns.
- Gravity: Moving the Morph Node and releasing it causes it to bounce (using physical movement emulation).
- Draw: Draw your own curve and the Morph Node will play it back.
- Click: Click different spots on the Morph Matrix and it will replay those points in order.
The user interface is intuitive enough. 4 oscillators make a circle around the XY matrix: 2 on the left and 2 on the right.
