First let’s get back to the day when Dubreq became famous. There was one design which made the company popular – in 1968 Dubreq released Stylophone pocket synth developed by Brian Jarvis. Since then the brand went on making progress producing Stylophone S2, Stylophone Beatbox and this year NAMM Show introduces us to their new creation.
The obvious peculiarity of this instrument is about its control, i.e. you will need a simple stylus to make it function. In comparison to that iconic “sound maker” from 60s Stylophone GEN X-1 comprises new engine and delay effect, LFO with square and triangle waveforms and excels at portability.
Dubreq confirms that Stylophone GEN X-1 will be available in May 2017 at the nice price of $70.
Watch the demo made by John Simpson at NAMM and learn about the details of Dubreq new development.
