Dreadbox Gives It All For You (Literally)

The Greek brand Dreadbox brought their apologies on its official website revealing the real number of their teammates – one of which is actually a dog, – complaining about the taxes and boasting of some new and up-coming projects. Anyway it’s great that Greece is obviously doing ok – some local products appeared to be so popular that all the units were sold out during the very first days of the pre-order.

Dreadbox had to apologize for being so wonderful and indispensable but also poor at the same time and not able to reconcile the supply with the demand. According to the module makers the limited edition of Murmux V2 (50 units) was sold out in no time while the e-mail is bursting with pre-orders. Still.

The device is 100% hand made. Murmux V2 is an analog paraphonic synthesizer comprising 3 standard VCOs + 1 sub oscillator, 1 “hyper” VCO (featuring 6 sawtooth waveforms), 3 LFOs (one of which is voltage controlled), 2 amplifiers, sample&hold, hybrid voltage controlled delay, 2 passive attenuators.

The price is $1499.
