Pittsburgh Modular Lifeforms New Module: Percussion Sequencer

Pittsburgh Modular keep on developing their successful Lifeforms line having created a drum sequencer with all the basic necessary features which any Eurorack modules lover would pay his attention to – especially those who have System 101 or System 301 any of which would make a perfect couple to the new Percussion Sequencer.

PGH Lifeforms Percussion SequencerLifeforms series got a new family member – a 4-channel Eurorack bit sequencer sporting a classic drum machine interface which makes you intuitively dive into drum parts creation changing pattern and effect settings in real time without having to stop the sequence in order to re-program it (you won’t notice the transition between playback and record modes, it’s perfectly suitable for studio work as well as for live performance).

Percussion Sequencer offers a step by step mode (up to 32 steps) and allows using effects individually per each of 4 channels. There have never been featured so many possibilities for drums programming – it’s the first such an instrument in a modular synth segment.

The device incorporates analog amplifiers and envelope generators per channel and turns any waveform source into a percussion element. Besides, the module offers 6 pattern-effects: Shift, Glitch, Density, Morph, Swing and Add/ Drop, channel mute. Format - 24 HP.

PGH Lifeforms Percussion Sequencer module will cost you $349 and will be available on the 30th of September, 2016.
