Leading prestigious and competent sources published the news/version that the Japanese company is going to solve (finally) the problem marked by the fans of analog synthesizers as well as by ARP loyal followers. A photo appeared on the Internet depicting a synth which is neither KORG ARP Odyssey with mini keys nor ARP Odyssey itself. The first KORG’s Odyssey was thrown into battle taking risks. Anyway the music world was happy with such a move from the Japanese brand and ensured a high demand for it. And everything seemed to be great except for those mini keys.
The keyboardless module KORG ARP Odyssey followed later and it had some improvements – you can read about them here KORG ARP Odyssey Module. So now we see these photos and expect KORG to reach the top of new analog era Olympus just because they did it. Let’s cross our fingers and wait whether it’s going to be proved or negated by the Japanese brand which keeps silent. Doesn’t confute – it’s good, doesn’t tell us the release date – but we’ll wait for it.
