Roland JD-Xi: Upgraded Small Beast Is Now Even Better

Roland corporation has released an update for a hybrid mini synth JD-Xi up to v1.50. Now it features an interactive function which allows making chord progression, octave shifts, introduces a compressor based on Side Chain algorithm and a Shuffle function. Some software bugs were also fixed. You’re welcome to listen to the new sounds and watch an official video sharing all the updates with you.

Some software bugs were fixed – no problem with incorrect capturing after patches deletion and etc. Nevertheless the updated synth still doesn’t feature something all the users have been waiting for so long – menu navigation leaves a lot to be desired.

The new version of the system for JD-Xi is available on the Axial website. After you upload it into your JD-Xi you can also upload an updated sound library which includes many dance music sounds of all genres from electro house to dubstep.
