Dato DUO Final Prototype

A serious collaboration of two musicians – is what the authors’ idea was and is exactly what encouraged another Kickstarter project. Dato DUO creators want to raise funds for a synthesizer which would bring a lot of joy during sound generating process, it would also be affordable and great for composers of any age willing to do some music together.

One side of a wedge-shaped synth features 2 oscillators with sawtooth and pulse waveforms, digital low pass resonant filter, amplifier envelope (note length and release time) and sample rate reductor. Other side is filled with an 8-step circular sequencer, 2-octave pentatonic keyboard, the effects of delay and simple kick/snare based on noise samples. Among audio outputs you can find a headphone one, sync in/out which are compatible with similar minimalist synths (Korg Volca or Teenage Engineering Pocket Operators), MIDI in/out and micro USB for power supply.

Dato DUO can be pre-ordered for $330 and delivered to you in May this year.
