Behringer made a major synth announcement, sharing these teaser videos for their upcoming Neutron semimodular analog synthesizer.

Apparently, the new synth module will have the following specifications:

  • Analog signhal path
  • Semi-modular architecture
  • Noise generator
  • LFO with Sample&hold feature
  • 2x ADSR envelopes
  • VCF with controls for frequency cutoff, resonance, filter depth and envelope depth.
  • VCA
  • Internal normalization - it can be used without any patching
  • 7×4 IN / 7x3 OUT matrix of patch points to make possible to override the internal signal flow.
  • Overdrive circuit
  • Delay effect
  • Slew control
  • Attenuators
