Behringer new synth and drum machine clones are neither news nor hype makers – the brand will not be represented during NAMM Show 2018. Uli Behringer claims these products to be nothing more than concepts and insists that the details weren’t leaked intentionally.

Anyway the concepts seem to be quite well thought out already. The six new synth clones include ARP 2600 and EMS VCS3 while five drum machine clones have Roland TR-808 and TR-909 replicas enlisted.

Behringer is going to release the whole line of company’s products they’ve been working for years among which you’ll find Minimoog Model D clone, OSCar clone and many more. The number of instruments in development is impressive.Behringer D has been accepting pre-orders for half a year though the details on availability are still missing.

The company seem to have focused on the number of clones they’re creating trying to catch up with their policy of shock and surprise while the market is on and other brands make step by step following their own announcements.

Though the error on the product page is slightly more informative and timely than any other plausible error which might occur to a website.

Rhythm Designer RD-808 (=TR-808):

CAT (=Octave’s The CAT)

SYNTHI VCX3 (=SYNTHI VCS3)

Analog Synthesizer with 3 VCOs, VCF, LFO, Ring Modulator and Reverb, 42 controls.

MS-101-BK, MS-101-GY, MS-101-BU (Roland SH-101 inspired)

Analog Synthesizer with 32 Full-Size Keys, 3340 VCO with 4 Simultaneous Waveforms, Arpeggiator, Live Performance Kit, VCF, ADSR, and 32-Step Sequencer.

K-20 (=MS-20)

Analog and Semi-Modular Synthesizer with Dual VCOs, Ring Modulator, External Signal Processor, 16-Voice Poly Chain, Eurorack Format, reproducing MS-20 circuitry, and 36 controls.

The instruments were revised and redeveloped to offer MIDI and USB support as well as to fit Eurorack format.

No matter what Uli’s intention is Behringer will get close to release.
